By Rob Markman

Young Buck should consider himself lucky after he survived an 11-shot drive-by shooting early Sunday morning in his native Nashville, Tennessee. A woman that he was riding with however wasn’t so lucky, she was hit once in the shoulder and has since been treated and released according to reports form WSMV in Nashville.
The shooting took place at approximately 3:30 a.m. The rapper and two passengers found their vehicle under fire when a white Chevrolet Tahoe drove past letting off 11 shots. Buck and one of the passengers were not hit, but a woman who was identified as the former G-Unit MC’s girlfriend, Kenyetta Rainey was shot in the shoulder. Police tell WSMV that she was treated at Vanderbilt Hospital and then sent home.
Before the shooting Young Buck and Rainey were reportedly in an argument at the La Bamba nightclub in South Nashville. The couple left after the heated exchange and so did the people that they were arguing with according to officers.
Buck is most known for his role in 50’s G-Unit group and record label. Under 50’s guidance Buck released 2004’s Straight Outta Cashville and 2007’s Buck the World. Younk Buck has since had a falling out with 50 and G-Unit and has been working on the mixtape scene to reestablish his positioning in the rap game.
