Big Sean Pushes 'Hall Of Fame' Album To 2013

Big Sean was aiming for a December release for his sophomore album, Hall of Fame

, but the rapper has pushed things back.

In the second video of his video blog (below), entitled "Fear," the G.O.O.D. Music signee struggles with the decision on a release date... and ultimately pushes the LP to early 2013.

"I'm playing myself if I come out too early. I'ma take my time with it. My first album was not all the way where I wanted it to be," Sean says of the follow-up to his 2011 debut, Finally Famous

"The first project I put out and felt comfortable with was Detroit

(his recently released mixtape). We really did it how we wanted to do it. We shot the proper promotion," he explains. "I'm not about to do this to my album. We about to do what we did with Detroit 10 times better."

As the webisode continues, he also opens up about his fears. "I can sit here and say I don't fear anything, nothing, or I never felt fear. That's a Goddamn lie though," Sean admits. "Everybody afraid of something, whether you know it or not. I always feared not ever living the life I dreamed of or not being successful or rich."

Hall of Fame

has no release date as of press time. Until then, fans can enjoy his Detroit mixtape. It features guest appearances from Chris Brown, French Montana, Juicy J, Mike Posner, Tyga, and J. Cole, among others.

Nas' 10th Album Life Is Good Due In July

Nas released his last solo album Untitled four years ago, and on July 17, the Queensbridge legend will finally drop his 1oth studio LP Life Is Good. "It's been a long time; it's been years since I released a solo studio album, so this record is everything," Nas told MTV News in March. "This is everything that I've got to say — I guess you've got to live a little and you put that in your music, so it's coming from my life."

Since his classic 1994 debut Illmatic, Nas has stood as one of rap's premier artists. Though he has grown from a local New York prospect to a global icon, God's Son has managed to stay true to his Big Apple hip-hop roots. On last summer's single "Nasty," the much-revered MC rode atop a break-beat-inspired rap production that was reminiscent of rap's golden era of the late 1980s. The album's second official release, "The Don," follows a similar path and even features production from the late Heavy D, as well as Salaam Remi and Da Internz.

Earlier this month, Nas was the subject of VH1's "Behind the Music" series, and it was there that the usually private rap star opened up about some pretty personal subjects. Esco and those close to him gave backstory to Nas' epic battle with one-time rap foe Jay-Z and spoke on the death of the rapper's mother and his messy divorce from R&B singer Kelis.

One thing that Nas didn't expound on, however, is his recent tax troublewith the I.R.S. It has been reported that the rapper owes more than $6 million in back taxes. He will wait until his album is released to address that subject. "My side of the story is on the record and I speak about it on the record," he said when he appeared on "RapFix Live" in late March.

Before his July 17 release, Nas will drop another single. The No I.D-produced "Daughters" will drop on May 1, while the video for "The Don" is scheduled to premiere April 27.

Mac Miller, Cam'ron Working On Joint Album

The odd couple are at it again. Earlier this year Mac Miller teased fans about having a collaboration with Cam'ron and on February 1, the single "Dig That" premiered, validating all the tweets and rumors. Now, Mac Miller and Cam are in talks to record an album together. "Dig That" was produced by Big Jerm, giving it a familiar Dipset sound, but according to Miller the two have more than just one song together.

“We’re two funny guys,” Mac told XXL in a recent interview. “We cut up a lot in the studio, and have a good time and make some dope music. I think the cool thing is that it’s an unexpected collaboration that actually turned out dope. We wanna do some soulful hip-hop sh--, while also making some hard sh-- nd some fun music."

According to Mac, the focus will be on quality and not quantity, and if he and Cam'ron actually deliver an album, it will be much different from other collaborative projects. "[We’re] making sure that we do it in a way that’s different than other people who have done projects together. It’s still in the brainstorming stage, but we definitely have some dope records done," the Pittsburgh MC says. "He’s got a lot of knowledge in that he’s schooling me on.”

T.I. To Executive Produce Iggy Azalea's 'New Classic' Album

Iggy Azalea dropped her first mixtape Ignorant Art in September, followed by the memorable videos for "P----" and "My World," which caught the attention of honchos like Jimmy Iovine. In January she inked an official deal with Interscope Records and now the 21-year-old rapper will spend the month of February recording, in hopes of dropping her debut album The New Classic by June. She hasn't locked down a production team just yet, but Azalea tells MTV News that T.I. will serve as executive producer for the album.

"T.I.'s gonna be helping me with it, kind of A&R-ing, kind of executive producing," Azalea said. "He called me up like, 'Please?' and I was like, 'Definitely. You're Tip; I love you — of course.' So he's gonna be helping me out, just reaching out to people and helping me find production and pointing me in the direction of things that I might like."

This will be Azalea's first time working with the Atlanta rapper and Grand Hustle Records CEO, and she's certainly looking forward to it. "Hopefully, that will be really dynamic and it'll help speed things along.

"I'll probably fly out to Atlanta and we'll do it there because he's weird with traveling and stuff. I understand. See we're in touch with each other. I have legal issues; he has legal issues. I get it," she said, joking about T.I.'s legal issues and her own immigration woes, which have prevented her from performing many U.S. shows until recently.

"In terms of writing the record, that's not the part that really worries me; that's easy," she said. "It's finding the production and finding something cohesive that's right for the direction of the album. It could happen next week or I might go until the end of February and not find it. You just never know when you're gonna have that magic."

"If all goes to plan, my album will be out in June and I'll have it recorded by the end of the month."

Machine Gun Kelly Tosses Midgets & Plays With Half Naked Women At Fort Lauderdale Concert, Then Talks About His 2 Album Deal W/Bad Boy & Upcoming Single “Rain”

 Machine Gun Kelly saw both good times and bad while in Florida last week for a couple of concerts. He was arrested, then released for disorderly conduct in St. Petersburg, but not before he successfully performed there on Saturday and in Fort Lauderdale on Thursday.

Mikey T The Movie Star caught up with the Cleveland rapper after his rowdy show at Club Revolution in Fort Lauderdale to talk about his Bad Boy Records deal and upcoming single.

“They gave me full creative control,” MGK said if his Bad Boy deal. “I have creative control over everything on my project. It’s worked out for me well. They let me grind and they don’t hand me sh*t. I don’t have a csilver spoon with that label, and that’s what I asked for. Puff is a big brother to me. I signed for 2 [albums].”

MGK’s “Wild Boy” single with Waka Flocka has been making some noise. He’s getting ready to follow that up with the release a new single entitled “Rain.”

“A song called Rain [is my next single]. I’m really excited about that song. It’s a deep song,” he said. “It’s the opposite of Wild boy. A very revolutionary, rebellion type of message.“

“With mixtapes, a lot of times, a lot of people do something where they’re rhyming over other people’s beats, they freestyling and stuff like that. I wanted to do something that was a little bit more different and something that I was used to doing. I feel like one of my strong points is making hot records, making songs. So I wanted to do that right before my album was gonna drop.”
