Kendrick Lamar ft. Javonte: Uncle Bobby & Jason Keaton (#ThrowBack Music Video)

WE ARE HIP HOP! ARE YOU?

Kendrick Lamar was just another Los Angeles rapper trying to get on, coming up under Jay Rock and the TDE camp, back in early 2010. Before being named a 2011 XXL Freshman, he was creating, unaware of what was to come.
Back in early late 2009/early 2010, the rapper dropped his self-titled debut EP, and our man Justin Barnes (aka Rev) shot his very first music video for DropCityTV for the EP cut, "Uncle Bobby & Jason Keaton."
In the clip, before th video starts, Kendrick talks about the release, and what the song is all about. "This song is basically, the first start of knowing who I am, knowing where I grew up, and the type of emotions that I have to give to y'all to relate to and what not."
The clip didn't get enough love, so we decided to give you a throwback look at Kendrick Lamar with this video.
