When it comes to Nicki Minaj one could only imagine what her tour rider would consist of… A room filled with Barbies? Nope, actually she’s a pretty simple, seemingly humble gal. In a tour rider list obtained by Wonderland magazine the superstar’s demands all seem manageable and untroublesome. The list consisted of "egg whites (scrambled hard), turkey bacon (fried hard), white toast (grape and strawberry jelly/jam). Belgian waffles (syrup, powdered sugar, whipped cream, butter and strawberries on side) enough to serve four people."

"Three 12-piece buckets of fried chicken, spicy-no thighs, lots of wings. A deli tray with turkey breast meat, grilled chicken breast, whole-wheat bread or rolls, yellow mustard and other condiments (enough for six people). One large fruit platter with a side of mango and one large cheese platter." Some other demands included throat longenzes and a humidifier.

The multiplatinum rapper is up for a Best New Artist award at the 2012 Grammys, and in a new video clip she explains how much the nod means to her. "The way I look at it is, I know eventually, in my career, I’m going to have Grammys,” she said. ‘This year is just about being nominated and feeling grateful, feeling like my fans and I have come a very long way and we’re just going to celebrate this moment. Nothing else matters - winning, not winning, it doesn’t matter. It just matters that they get to see a girl from the hood take these steps and continue to take these steps, just with hard work."

As Nicki Minaj preps her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded, which is scheduled for release on April 3rd, she may encounter a few obstacles. The playful, dramatic and often cartoonish artist recently teamed up with director Hype Williams for the music video "Stupid Hoe,” which has now reportedly been banned from BET programming, according to TMZ.

The video, filled with quick transitions, plenty of morphing animation, costumes and bright backgrounds is also a bit on the raunchy side—but that’s what we’ve come to expect from Nicki Minaj. The clip broke VEVO viewing records in the first week that it debuted, but it will not get any airplay on BET, according to TMZ.

Sources say that the video has been blocked due to the fact that some of its’ content may be too explicit for TV (pointing at nearly naked clips of a woman's figure). These same sources also say that the song’s lyrics alone are too much for TV. However, this doesn't stop the animated hip-hop artist from proceeding. This weekend she will be performing with M.I.A. and Madonna at the Super Bowl halftime show.
