Big K.R.I.T. will release his debut album Live from the Underground via Def Jam Records this year, but not before dropping his latest mixtape 4Eva N a Day, on February 20 via LiveMixtapes. This week the Mississippi-bred rapper and producer extraordinaire began to build anticipation for the new project by releasing its cover art, tracklist and the new song “Boobie Miles.”

Like much of K.R.I.T’s work, the new single is self-produced and he even took some time to explain it on his blog. "It's about overcoming all the obstacles that block your dreams,” he wrote. “The sacrifices that come with how hard you have to go to obtain your goal, giving your all no matter what the situation, the only difference between a winner N a loser is a winner plays until he wins."
4Eva N a Day is a follow up to the 2011 mixtape Return of 4eva. During his last visit to “RapFix Live” K.R.I.T. explained that he wouldn’t rush his debut album, in order to make it perfect. "I'm my worst critic, at the end of the day, so the album's not gonna come out until I feel 100 percent solid about the content," K.R.I.T. said. "With my music, it's always been an organic kind of thing. It's not like we had a radio smash or nothing like that — people hear [my music] and they put other people on to it.
"I'm gonna do my best, of course, everybody wants to sell, but for the most part I just feel like it's more important that people hear the music," he continued, explaining why he needs to take his time with his debut LP. "I think that's what we've gotten across and people understand that I don't really mind dropping a free project — I have and I will. It's just about putting the music out there; I finally have a platform, which means that people can hear it now, and I feel blessed because of that."
